Hard Yakka footwear

IN a breakthrough in safety technology the new Hard Yakka footwear range features the Yakka Stealth II non-metallic composite safety toecap that outperforms steel safety toecaps in numerous ways.

It is 50% lighter and being non-metallic is non-magnetic, non-conductive, anti-corrosive, and offers better impact recovery.

Its lightweight construction decreases foot fatigue and because it isn't metallic it is three times less conducive to cold, and retains heat 50% longer than steel - offering better insulation for the toes.

Various Hard Yakka footwear styles also contain anti-static features that minimise electro static build up reducing the risk of spark ignition of flammable materials and vapours.

Being non-metallic makes the new range popular in the electrical industries and with anyone constantly passing through metal detectors and security scanners.

Some styles also feature thermo plastic urethane outsole with a soft, shock absorbing PU midsole. This proves the ultimate in comfort while also delivering superior resistance to the effects of hydrolysis.

The design meets all requirements of AS/NZS 2001.3 for type 1 safety toe caps.
